A playwright and librettist, Pamela Meadows has spent the better part of the last 30 years as a classroom teacher for students ranging from elementary age through college, educational theatre instructor and youth theatre activist.

She has done projects for the BBC London, the Blue Marble Company, and Greenstreet Studios. Working with Mr. John Wharton, Trustee of the Cole Porter Musical and Literary Trusts, she has worked on libretto adaptations to Porter's Red, Hot & Blue, and for Jerome Kern's Roberta for the Nederlander Organization.

Her first original drama, Just Friends, resulted in a commission from Actor's Theatre of Louisville. Her play, Forever Your Child, was recently presented at The Playwrights Horizons Studio in a series of readings that featured Marian Seldes, Jessica Hecht, David Huddleston and Daisy Eagan. Two of her original musicals, Ballad of the Angry Man, and her latest show, Fair Liberty's Call, a musical about Revolutionary America, have recently given a series of readings at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre in New York City. Mrs. Meadows is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America.
